Description

Russia, St. Petersburg, around 1890, silver 88 Zolotniki, 194 g. Height with lid approx. 7.5 cm, diameter approx. 5.2 cm. Beautiful, antique tin crafted by the Russian court jeweller Peter Carl Fabergé, bulged body and lid cut from nephrite, adorned with leaf tendrils decorations made of two-tone gold-plated silver. Wall with flower garlands and lamreqins, set with 5 small ruby cabochons. Leaf rosette and peg knob on the lid. Hallmarked on the ground with manufacturer's mark, master's mark of the Fabergé master Anders Johan Nevalainen in Cyrillic and finess mark of 88 Zolotniki.
